I am currently expecting this gorgy '05 Seafoam Twiggy and can't wait! I've never owned a Twiggy but the First is simply too small for my needs and the City is perfect for my needs so let's see what the Twiggy has to offer. I have also never seen and felt '04 Balenciaga Leather in real life so I'm really excited. I also think the color is absolutely gorgeous.

Oh Balenciaga- you've done it again! I am completely in love with this gorgeous jacket and really want one for fall/winter! The only thing I am hesitant about is spending $1995USD on jacket in Ivory... I certainly would wear it all the time but it might get dirty and look used quickly....

It does have the perfect cut to go from day to night though and I could wear it with my entire wardrobe! hmmm what to do... :)

I'm giving the Bal First another shot. I've owned a '05 Black First in the oast with the most gorgeous leather but sold it cuz I wanted to expand my collection. I was so new to Balenciaga back then (in spring 2006) that I still had to figure our my perfect size. I went from loving the First to the City, to the Purse (discontinued in 2005), to the Work back to the City. I think I've easily gone through around 20 bags and am now certain that the City is the perfect size for me- from day to night. I still think that the First has the cutest look overall but it's juts a tad too small to be the perfect every day bag. I'm sure this little cutie will brighten my days off or nights out though and can't wait for it to arrive! :)

I have been using my '06 Black City all the time since 2006 and it is starting to show some wear ( I use my colored '05 BBags a lot, too, but this one is my go-to staple which I don't have to baby- and trust me- I baby my colored '05 beauties! ).

Surprisingly the wear is mainly around the piping area around the opening of the bag and the handle piping (where the leather comes together)- the corners are still in perfect condition 4 years down the road.

I am definitely a die hard '05 leather fan and nearly all of my bags are from '05 these days so I obviously started my search for on '05 Black City. I have to say that I was pretty shocked by what people would charge for really beat up, old '05 black cities. I'm talking scuffed corners and piping, completely matte, worn leather etc. I would not even consider paying nearly double the retail price for that. I frankly think it's pretty rude to charge that much for a worn out bag.

I have therefore decided to give a new BBag a shot. I spent some time education myself about the newer leathers since my biggest fear is getting a BBag that will fade (eww!!!) so I definitely decided against '07 SS and FW. I found this stunning '08 FW Black City on realdealcollection.com and talked to Corey about the leather and color depth of this beauty and am now convinced that the leather is stunning and not going to fade. It pretty much looks and feels like an '05 Black City and I can't wait for this beauty to arrive! :)

We had a really great night- couldn't have been better :) We've been best friends since we were 13 (we're both 26 now) and our freindship has definitely stood the test of time since we spent more than half of that time on different continents ( Europe, US, Australia) but always managed to stay in touch. We've definitely gone through life's ups and downs together and have always been there for each other. We're finally on the same continent again and are both living together with our boyfriends in London now and couldn't be happier :)

I am finally back! I spent the last year traveling around Europe and have finally settled in London! I found a job I'm really excited to start next Monday and, in addition to that, my ex and I decided to get back together. He flew me out to a romantic vacation in Prague and proposed to me on the Charles bridge on my birthday in January! :) He's moving here at the end of April and we're having our little civil ceremony this July here in London. The big church wedding will be in Vienna mid next year. I'll share my wedding planning progress for both on this blog with you! So excited!! Let me know what you think.

Hi ladies,

I haven't posted here in a while because I have been traveling for the past 7 months and also spend 3 months in Barcelona which was absolutely fabulous! :)

I have been shopping but not as much since I've spent most of my money on traveling ;)

Before I left Australia I bought a Tag Heuer Pink Mother of Pearl Aquaracer Watch which I wear every day and absolutely LOVE! My whole theory is that if you wear something very often it is worth the money because you the value is determined by amount of use ;)
I also bought the LV Sprouse Brown Leopard scarf which I wear all the time here, too, so obviously also worth the money ;)

I bought Bal Sunnies which look fabulous but I don't wear them a lot here since the sun doesn't shine as much- I did in Barcelona though even though my DVB Aviators are still my first choice ;)

I also bought a diamond ring just to spoil myself- I'll take a picture of that later.

And finally, I found the PERFECT '05 Turquoise City!! I know I already have one but it happens to be my favorite bag which I use all the time and this one has the leather I prefer- fluffy and smooth! <3 I love my other one, too, but this one makes my heart beat even faster ;) So I have a back up one now and am completely Bal content! :)

Miss '05 Dolma City!! I've traded my '06 Truffle City for my '05 Magenta City and aI really missed a neutral, 'non-black' BBag and I've always had a major crush on '05 Dolma so I've decided to go for it. I think it looks fantastic with blonde hair, obviously LOVE the '05 leather, and am certain this one will be a keeper :)

I also recently sold my '05 Magenta Work as it was a bit too distressed for my liking and am now expecting a very smooth '05 Magenta Work and can't wait to get it!!

I am also waiting on Ms '06 Rouge Vif City to come back from BalNY since they're replacing the handles on it. Did you know that BalNY does that if you bought your BBag there?? It's the same price as LMB (around 180USD) and you're actually getting brand new Balenciaga handles as opposed to dodgily dyed handles by LMB that you have to wit for for months. I really dislike LMB as they made me wait 7 months to clean p my '05 Turquoise Work and they actually redyed the whole bag without my permission. I truly recommend that you NEVER send your bags there. They dye comes off, the leather feels fake and plasticy and the bags look like counterfeits afterwards- truly not worth the money!

I am currently studying hard for my last finals and got this gorgeous beauty in the mail a few days ago which truly brightened my day- or week, or year!! :)

I had no idea how truly gorgeous '05 Magenta is until I opened the dustbag and was simply stunned!Truly nothing compares- now I finally understand what everyone was talking about! I also realized that, even though my '08 Magenta Work was gorgeous and both '08 Magenta as well as Amethyst are very pretty colors, I always ended up really wanting the original '05 Magenta.

I am beyond excited about this purchase and once again have to admit that '05 was the best Bal year ever and will probably always be!

Living in sunny Australia is the best excuse for owning gorgeous sunglasses ;) I have a few more (Armani, Gucci etc.) but these two pairs are my absolute "Go-To" sunnies!<3

The Black Burberry ones are always timeless classy and chic a la Audrey and Jackie Kennedy and suit basically every occasion.

The DVB ones are just beyond amazing-they are very cool-effortless-chic and look fabulous on almost anyone- they're currently my favorite :)

My gorgeous Truffle City and Black Work arrived this week and I am beyond excited!!They're both so beautiful and interestingly, I wore my Black Work today (which seriously feels like silk!!) and got compliments from 5 people about it! More than I've ever gotten on any of my other bags!! I am so in love! Miss Truffle is also just gorgeous and I'm really happy with my purchases and really content with my collection for now! Only waiting for miss '05 Turquoise Work now to arrive safely! Wish me lck with that as LMB is not as reliable and quick as I wish they were-it's been 11 weeks and counting! Hope you enjoy the pics!

I love this cute BubbleGum Pink Balenciaga! This bag was my second encounter with '05 Bal leather but this was the encounter that got me HOOKED! I remember I picked up a friend of mine the day I first used this bag and she picked it up when she entered the car and was like: OMG- this bag feels like silk!! It truly does, ladies! '05 Balenciaga leather is without a doubt the best of the best!! '05 also has the best colors ever, including BubbleGum, Apple Green, Turquoise and Magenta. My first BBag was actually a smooshy '05 Black First but as soon as I got my Black City it was clear to me that this is the perfect day-to-night BBag for me. The First is just too small for my needs and the City holds quite a bit yet can also be worn clubbing and look surprisingly small when you only take a wallet, Coin Purse (which holds cell and a bit of make up) and house keys. Hence I have three cities now (Black, Rouge Vif and BubbleGum) and a 4th one in the way (Truffle- can't wait!:). I wore this bag day-in-day- out in NYC when I worked there for 6 months and also wore it to uni a lot during my first semester and still wear it quite often and it still looks amazing in my opinion. I even took the tassel at the front off (I ALWAYS take the tassels off the 'zipper ears' immediately when i get a bag and tuck the 'ears' in!!) and wore it to a job interview with a very chic outfit the other day and got the job! :) So it has also brought be good luck! :)In addition, it feels amazingly soft and thick and I will definitely keep this gorgy baby forever! Hermes Palladium Pink Clic Clac <3

This was my first Hermes purchase ever and I am still very much in love with this gorgeous Pink Hermes Clic Clac. Hermes craftsmanship is amazing and it just looks fabulous- I get a lot of compliments on it and wear it nearly every single day. This gorgeous bracelet was definitely worth every penny! :)

'06 Rouge Vif City (the Best Bal Red Ever!)

This gorgeous '06 Rouge Vif City is one of my all time favorites. The red is such a deep berry red with blue undertones and the leather is just divine. It makes every outfit a classic and provides a gorgeous yet chic pop of color to any outfit. I think this will be one of my three main work bags along with my beloved '06 Black City (people still don't believe it is an '06 because of its incredible leather) and a '06 Truffle City which should be in the mail to me soon. Anyway, this gorgeous bag will always stay with me and I don't wear it very often but when I do, I fall in love over and over again and can't stop looking at it/touching it :)

'08 Magenta Work (Balenciaga) aka My Current 'Go-to-Bag'

I am madly in love with my '08 Magenta Work! I really liked it when I got it and was very excited when I opened the box (I also got a matching Coin Purse from my lovely fiance for V-Day:) but am now seriously in love with this bag. I personally prefer bags when they are more broken in (at least in context with Balenciagas- I think Hermes lovers feel the same way about their bags, too). My '08 Magenta is now beautifully broken in and incredibly soft, thick and dark. I am so glad to have gotten one from the 2nd batch as the first batch of '08 Magentas was quite light, veiny and dry. I really love this little cutie! When it arrived an I opened the box my heart literally skipped a beat because te color is so pretty and bright. In addition to that, as all Balenciaga fans know, '05 has the silkiest leather and this little cutie will definitely stay with me forever :)

Hi ladies and gents,

thank you so much for having a look at my blog! :) I love all the pretty little things that make one's everyday life sweeter. That is exactly what this blog will be about- my little slices of heaven <3

My absolutely favorite brand without a doubt is Balenciaga. I have collected 11 bags and accessories during the past year and am still lusting after more. I will try to post pictures of at least one of them each day and write a few things about them. Maybe I'll even convert you into a Balenciaga fan, too :)

I also absolutely love Hermes and am currently lusting after this gorgeous Reversible Palladium Plated Hermes Belt and am planning on making that my next purchase :) So far I only have a Pink PM Palladium Bracelet from Hermes and will post pictures of it soon, too.

I also really like watches but have not gotten too crazy about them yet. I have a Gucci watch and a Raymond Weil Tango which I love so much that I practically wear it every day.

I also really like jewelry, shoes and nice make up but definitely spend most of my money on nice handbags.

In context with clothes I really love ZARA as they always have something that suits and fits me perfectly. I really like Miss Sixty, Diesel and Mavi for jeans and CUE for suits and formal dresses. I like Steve Madden, Nine West and Tony Bianco for shoes but will definitely invest in Laboutins and Manolos one day- I just can't bring myself to invest $700+ in something that I'm going to be walking on an that will be touching the dirty asphalt but I think I will one day :P

Of course I also want to own a Hermes Birkin one day. I am not too crazy about Kellys and would be very happy with a classic Black Birkin. I think I am going to wait with that purchase for a while because I am certain that I will enjoy it a lot more once I am around 30+ because I would currently be too paranoid and scared of damaging it :P
